Travel is an investment. We manage it to maximize returns.
Tripsmarter is a corporate travel management company built around a different measure of success: the business outcome. We help organizations manage travel as an investment—combining strategic program management, predictive disruption intelligence, global infrastructure, and expert execution to make sure travel accomplishes what it was intended to accomplish.
Yes. Tripsmarter provides 24/7 global emergency travel support. Our proprietary FlightWatch platform proactively monitors travelers' itineraries and predicts emerging disruptions, allowing our advisors to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and intervene when necessary, rather than relying solely on automated flight alerts.
Tripsmarter combines proprietary FlightWatch technology with experienced advisor oversight to identify developing disruptions before they materially impact a trip. Our team evaluates flight operations, weather, connections, traveler schedules, and available alternatives, then provides context, recommendations, and proactive intervention. The objective is not simply to alert the traveler to a problem, but to protect the trip and the business purpose behind it.
Tripsmarter prioritizes urgent and in-travel requests for immediate attention, with 24/7 emergency support available globally. Routine requests are handled promptly by experienced advisors familiar with the client and traveler. Formal response-time SLAs can be established based on client requirements and service configuration.
Tripsmarter takes a proactive approach to disruption management. Rather than relying solely on airline notifications or automated flight alerts, our FlightWatch platform continuously monitors active and upcoming travel for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, airport conditions, weather, and other developing operational risks. When a potential disruption is identified, an experienced advisor evaluates its actual impact on the traveler and the overall itinerary. Depending on the circumstances, we can research alternatives, protect backup options where appropriate, rebook travel, coordinate airlines and other suppliers, and communicate recommendations directly to the traveler or designated company contacts. Our objective is not simply to tell a traveler that a flight is delayed. It is to determine what the disruption means, what options are available, and what action provides the best opportunity to keep the trip—and its business objective—on track.
Tripsmarter supports duty of care through itinerary-based traveler visibility, proactive trip monitoring, travel-risk awareness, 24/7 emergency support, and active intervention when travelers are affected by disruptions or developing events. Our proprietary FlightWatch platform monitors active and upcoming itineraries using flight status, airport conditions, aviation information, weather data, and other operational intelligence. This allows our team to identify potential problems and evaluate their impact before or during a trip. When intervention is required, our role extends beyond sending an automated alert. Advisors can evaluate alternatives, assist with rebooking, coordinate suppliers, communicate with travelers and company contacts, and help manage the operational consequences of the disruption. For broader security, medical, destination-risk, or crisis-management requirements, Tripsmarter can also work within a client's existing duty-of-care and risk-management framework and with designated third-party providers.
Tripsmarter supports major corporate credit cards, centralized corporate payment solutions, virtual cards through providers such as Conferma and SAP Concur, and other client-approved payment arrangements. Payment programs can be configured to meet each organization's travel, reconciliation, reporting, and expense management requirements.
Yes. Tripsmarter supports consolidated invoicing and customized billing arrangements based on client requirements. Billing and reporting can be structured around relevant accounting fields such as company, department, cost center, project, or traveler, with centralized payment and reconciliation options available based on program configuration.
Tripsmarter provides global corporate travel management and traveler support through our own capabilities and the Amex GBT network. We support travel throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa, subject to applicable sanctions, government restrictions, security conditions, supplier availability, and operational feasibility.
Tripsmarter is designed for organizations that want the capabilities of a global travel program without sacrificing experienced, accountable service. Through our technology platforms, Amex GBT network relationship, global supplier access, reporting capabilities, and 24/7 infrastructure, clients can access many of the capabilities normally associated with a large multinational TMC. Tripsmarter adds a more specialized operating model focused on experienced advisors, proactive trip management, flexibility, and direct accountability. This is particularly valuable for organizations with executives, complex international travel, investor roadshows, life sciences and clinical research activity, time-sensitive travel, or other trips where service quality and operational execution matter. We don't believe companies should have to choose between global infrastructure and personalized execution. Tripsmarter is structured to provide both.
Yes. Tripsmarter operates on Sabre for global air, hotel, car, and related travel content and fulfillment. Our broader technology ecosystem includes SAP Concur and global travel infrastructure through the Amex GBT network.
API-based integrations can be supported through Tripsmarter's enterprise technology ecosystem, including SAP Concur, Sabre, Amex GBT, and other approved technology partners. Integration capabilities are evaluated based on the client's requirements, systems, and intended use case. Tripsmarter does not currently offer a standalone public proprietary booking API.
Yes. Tripsmarter supports NDC content but uses it selectively based on the best overall outcome for the client. NDC can provide access to certain airline content and pricing, but it can also limit servicing capabilities compared with traditional EDIFACT/GDS bookings, particularly during complex changes and disruptions. We evaluate distribution options based not only on fare, but also serviceability, flexibility, traveler requirements, operational risk, and the business purpose of the trip. When NDC provides meaningful overall value, we use it. When the savings are marginal and traditional GDS content provides materially stronger servicing capabilities, we generally favor the option that better protects the traveler and the business objective.
Tripsmarter combines global travel infrastructure, SAP Concur technology, and the Amex GBT network with experienced, personalized program management and traveler support. We provide the technology, policy, reporting, supplier management, and global capabilities expected from an enterprise TMC while maintaining direct operational ownership of complex travel, executive requirements, and disruptions.
Yes. Tripsmarter combines a specialized service model with the infrastructure required to support larger and more complex corporate travel programs. Through the Amex GBT network, SAP Concur, Sabre, global supplier relationships, reporting and data capabilities, and 24/7 support, we can provide the technology, geographic reach, and operational infrastructure expected of a global TMC. Programs can be configured around online and agent-assisted booking, travel policy, approval workflows, preferred suppliers, traveler profiles, reporting, duty of care, and specialized service requirements. This allows Tripsmarter to scale transaction volume and program complexity while maintaining the experienced advisory and operational support that differentiates our model.
Tripsmarter specializes in corporate and executive travel where complexity, timing, and execution matter. Areas of particular expertise include complex international itineraries, executive and VIP travel, investor roadshows, board and leadership travel, life sciences and clinical research travel, and time-sensitive or disruption-prone itineraries. We also provide complete managed travel programs combining online booking, policy management, cost control, reporting, duty of care, and global traveler support.
Tripsmarter uses controlled access to traveler and client information and limits data access to authorized personnel and systems required to provide travel services. Core travel data and technology are managed through established enterprise platforms including Sabre, SAP Concur, and Amex GBT network infrastructure, which maintain their own security, privacy, access-control, and compliance programs.
Tripsmarter measures travel program performance across cost, policy compliance, supplier performance, traveler experience, operational reliability, and business outcomes. We believe the ultimate purpose of corporate travel is to accomplish a business objective. A successful travel program should therefore manage cost efficiently while also helping ensure travelers arrive where they need to be, when they need to be there, prepared to accomplish what the organization sent them to do.
Tripsmarter combines technology, program management, supplier strategy, reporting, and advisor support to help clients manage travel spend and policy compliance. Through platforms such as SAP Concur, travel policies can incorporate preferred suppliers, fare and cabin parameters, hotel limits, advance-purchase requirements, approval workflows, and other company-specific controls. Online booking encourages compliant purchasing at the point of sale, while agent-assisted reservations can follow the same program requirements. Tripsmarter also helps clients evaluate travel patterns, supplier utilization, booking behavior, exceptions, and savings opportunities. Our objective is to create a policy that controls unnecessary spending without preventing employees from making appropriate travel decisions when legitimate business requirements justify an exception.
Tripsmarter supports GDPR compliance through data minimization, appropriate access controls, contractual safeguards, and partnerships with enterprise technology partners that have established data privacy and security programs. Personal information is processed only as necessary to provide travel management and traveler support services and in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
Tripsmarter evaluates traditional travel-management metrics including spend, savings, policy compliance, supplier utilization, booking behavior, service performance, and traveler activity. Reporting and program reviews can be configured around the priorities of each organization. We also believe travel programs should be evaluated in the context of why employees are traveling in the first place. Travel is a business investment made to accomplish an objective—meeting a customer, conducting a clinical trial, completing an investor roadshow, attending a board meeting, developing a market, or bringing teams together. For that reason, we encourage clients to look beyond transaction metrics alone and consider reliability, traveler productivity, operational risk, disruption management, and whether travel decisions support the underlying business objective. Cost control remains important, but the most efficient travel program is ultimately one that manages cost while helping the organization accomplish what the travel was intended to achieve.
Tripsmarter is not independently SOC 2 Type II certified. Core enterprise travel technology and infrastructure are provided through established partners including SAP Concur, Sabre, and Amex GBT, each of which maintains its own security and compliance programs.
Yes. Travel policies and approval workflows can be configured through SAP Concur based on each client's requirements. Programs can identify or restrict out-of-policy options, require justification, route exceptions for approval, and accommodate legitimate business needs while maintaining visibility, reporting, and policy oversight.
Tripsmarter supports online, mobile, and advisor-assisted booking. Clients can use SAP Concur for online and mobile booking, while our experienced travel advisors provide offline support for complex, executive, international, and time-sensitive travel. Travelers and executive assistants can also contact our team directly for personalized assistance and 24/7 support.
Tripsmarter uses Sabre, online booking technology, airline and hotel content, negotiated and preferred supplier programs, and available NDC content to identify competitive travel options. Client-negotiated rates and preferred suppliers can also be incorporated into the program and booking process. Our objective, however, is not simply to identify the lowest displayed price. We evaluate total trip value, including fare, schedule, flexibility, policy, traveler requirements, servicing capabilities, and operational risk. A slightly lower fare can become significantly more expensive if restrictive conditions, poor servicing capabilities, or an impractical itinerary interfere with the trip. Tripsmarter therefore combines technology-based fare shopping with experienced judgment to help clients control cost while making travel decisions that support the business objective.
Tripsmarter does not apply a universal minimum travel volume requirement. We evaluate prospective clients based on the complexity of their travel program, service requirements, technology needs, and overall fit rather than spend alone. Our programs are designed for organizations that value professionally managed corporate travel and experienced traveler support.
Tripsmarter offers flexible pricing models based on each client's travel program, service requirements, technology configuration, and transaction volume. Programs may include transaction-based fees, management fees, or customized pricing structures. Pricing is developed transparently during the proposal process.

Yes. Tripsmarter supports integrated travel and expense programs through SAP Concur and can accommodate other client-selected expense and technology platforms depending on integration requirements. Our technology allows travel, payment, reporting, and expense workflows to be configured around the client's existing environment.
Tripsmarter combines established enterprise travel platforms with proprietary technology and experienced human support. Capabilities include SAP Concur online booking and travel-policy management, Sabre global distribution technology, Amex GBT network infrastructure, traveler profiles, reporting, supplier content, mobile capabilities, and program-management tools. Our proprietary FlightWatch platform adds an operational intelligence layer focused on active and upcoming travel. It consolidates itinerary, flight, airport, aviation, and weather information to help our team identify developing risks and proactively manage disruptions. We view technology as an enabler rather than the entire travel-management product. Automation is used where it improves efficiency, visibility, compliance, and decision-making, while experienced advisors remain involved when travel requires judgment, complex servicing, or operational intervention.
